The East Lake Elementary School PTA Carnival Committee would like to invite you to join us for our annual outdoor spring carnival on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We have spaces available for all crafters or vendors.  Please note, we will not be able to supply tents or tables.  Crafters or vendors are responsible for supplying their own tents or tables.  Each rental space will be $12.00.

Did you know you could turn your trash into cold hard cash for East Lake? Every dime (Box Top), quarter (Tyson product top), product points (Coke Rewards and Campbell’s), and internet search (GoodSearch)  adds up so remind everyone to check product labels before tossing items in the trash.

Have you heard about Just Between Friends? JustBetweenFriends.com is the new official National PTA website to manage all PTA organizations. East Lake's PTA will also use this website to manage the PTA memberships. In the next few weeks, we'll be setting  up the site to communicate within the PTA at East Lake and in the upcoming months all of our East Lake parents will be able to go there and get PTA information. PTA members that have submitted their email addresses on the membership forms will be receiving a validation email which will complete your registration. Non-PTA parents are encouraged to join, too. We will need the following information: Parent name, Student Name, Teacher Name, Home address, Phone Number, and Email Address. Click here to print a copy of the East Lake PTA email form. Please print it and return to your  child's teacher.

Chick-fil-A Spirit Nights

Be sure to check the PTA website calendar for the Chick fil A Spirit Nights at the Waterford Lakes Town Center.  Chick-fil-A Spirit Nights will be held the last Thursday of every month from 5:00-8:00 PM. Each month you will receive a Spirit Night coupon for Chick-fil-A in Waterford Lakes Town Center. Present that coupon when you give your order and Chick-fil-A will donate 10% of that evening's sales back to East Lake. It's a fun and yummy way to get together with classmates and earn money back for our school.
