What is SAC and why would I want to join? |
|
SAC is short for School Advisory Council. This is a group of parents and teachers that analyze the progress of the school and develop the School Improvement Plan. The School Improvement Plan contains the academic goals set forth by the district and are measured by the FCAT. The SAC also determines how the School Improvement money is spent ($100 per child) and discusses the school budget with the principal every spring. In September, a flyer will go home asking parents if they are interested in joining the SAC. In the meantime, parents can contact the principal if they would like more information. |

What's the best way to send in money for lunch? |

2nd best way is by check. You can send in a check with your child. The teachers records the entered amount and sends it to the Cafeteria. All checks should be payable to: East Lake Cafeteria.
We do not recommend that you send cash.
